Mission Statement

The mission of Princess with a Purpose is to proclaim truth to women of all ages about who they are in Christ. Equipping them with the Word of God, so they can accept their royal position as a daughter of the King, and live out what God has purposed for them from the beginning of creation.

Isaiah 61:1-3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.
2 Corinthians 6:18 "I will be a father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters," says the Lord Almighty.
Ephesians 1:4-6 For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will - to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves.

Kelly Chapman

Statement of Belief

I, Kelly Chapman, became a Christian at the age of fourteen. I believed Jesus died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead three days later. I prayed and asked Jesus into my heart because of my belief in Him and so I could go to heaven. But, it wasn’t until I was 24 years old that I began to really walk with Jesus. I had just gotten married and I was secretly struggling with an eating disorder I had since High School. I finally confessed my secret to my husband and the two of us got on our knees and prayed for Jesus to heal me of this addiction. Through Christian counseling, my husband’s support, and much prayer, the Lord answered our prayer!

That was over 15 years ago and the Lord has continued to make Himself real to me through His Word, prayer, circumstances, and other Believers. God was faithful to see my husband and me through six years of infertility. And He has graciously given us two precious children. Like the blind man Jesus healed in John 9, One thing I know, I was blind but now I see! I know Jesus is real because I have experienced Him in my life! My desire is to tell of His wonders (Psalm 105: 1-5).

I believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I believe they are all one God that make up the Trinity.

I believe 2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.

I believe salvation is a free gift from God. I believe John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I believe Jesus wants us to live an abundant Christian life as He tells us in John 10:10: The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

I believe John 14:6: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.”

I believe 2 Peter 3:9: The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

I believe John 8:36: So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

I believe Romans 6:6-7: For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin- because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
